SiShield’s Antimicrobial Agent is the world’s finest durable, water based treatment designed to inhibit and destroy odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. Applied to fabrics of any blend and construction, this patented and EPA-registered product will remain fresh smelling and odor free through years of home laundering and use. Now socks, activewear, footwear, bath and hand towels, rugs and shower curtains can resist the damage and degradation from bacteria and mold and mildew effects.

The SiShield Antimicrobial Protection can also be applied to woven and non-woven textiles in the wet-finishing process. When microorganisms are introduced onto the fabric, SiShield creates an invisible layer of antimicrobial protection of one molecule deep where the bacteria and fungi cannot grow. The cell walls of the microbe are punctured and destroyed, when in contact with the SiShield antimicrobial surface protection. This built-in antimicrobial protection, which takes place during the manufacturing process, will last as long as the life of the textile product.

SiShield’s water-based antimicrobial products provide residual protection against deterioration, stains and odors caused by fungi (mold and mildew), bacteria and algae. These products can be used on almost any surface and are tailored for consumer packaged goods and remediation as effective, user-friendly, end-use products.
